Consider/Approve Tennessee School Nutrition Standards Act
Certification of Compliance for the 2012 – 2013 School Year

Background Information:

Annually, the Board must certify to the Commissioner of Education that our system implemented the School Nutrition Program according to the Plan for Compliance to the Tennessee School Nutrition Standards Act. The attached certification indicates the requirements of these programs, which we are meeting.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the Tennessee School Nutrition Standards Act Certification of Compliance for the 2012 – 2013 school year.
